Collage Making Activity – A Journey Through History
The students of Std. VIII to X participated enthusiastically in a creative collage-making activity on historical events, with each colour representing a significant theme from India’s rich historical journey.
Red – National Symbols and Flags: Students explored the evolution and significance of India’s national symbols and flags, reflecting our identity and unity.
Blue – India Gains Independence: This section highlighted India’s struggle for freedom and the historic achievement of independence on 15th August 1947.
Green – Indian National Army – Subhas Chandra Bose: Students presented the contribution of Subhas Chandra Bose and the Indian National Army (INA) to India’s freedom struggle.
Yellow – From Ancient India to Modern India – A Historical Journey: This section depicted India’s transformation through the ages, showcasing important events, achievements and developments from ancient times to the modern era.
The activity helped students connect historical facts with creativity and visual expression while developing their research, teamwork and presentation skills. It was an enriching experience that reminded them that history is not merely a record of the past, but a journey that shapes our present and inspires our future.
