Dear Parents,

Greetings of peace and joy!

This is to inform you that the school will remain closed for the summer holidays from 2nd May to 8th June 2025. We wish each of our dear students a safe, blessed, and joyful time at home with their parents and siblings.

As your child enjoys this break, may I humbly request your support in helping them make this time meaningful:

Teach them to notice and appreciate the little miracles of everyday life—the sunrise, a blooming flower, a kind act.

Encourage them to spend time in nature— to observe it, care for it, and understand the importance of protecting our environment.

Take them to your workplace, if possible, and allow them to witness the dedication and hard work you put in to secure a better future for them.

Involve them in household chores —assign small tasks and guide them as they learn responsibility and teamwork.

Set a simple reading timetable to help them cultivate the habit of reading and lifelong learning.

With the summer heat at its peak, please ensure your children stay well-hydrated, avoid too much exposure to the sun, and are protected from heat-related illnesses.

Wishing you and your family safe, healthy, and joyful summer holidays!

Thank you for your continued support.

Warm regards,
Sr. Beryl Xavier,
Principal.

Subject: Circular on Student Attendance and Disciplinary Measures

Dear Parents/Guardians,

It is with great disappointment that I address a matter of growing concern within our school community. We have observed a significant increase in student absenteeism, which undermines not only the academic progress of the students but also the discipline and values we strive to instill.

Despite earlier measures, including the introduction of fines to curb this trend, we have not seen the desired improvement. Some students continue to attend school irregularly, often appearing only during exams. This is unacceptable and against the ethos of our institution.

After thorough discussions and consultations with experts, the school has decided to implement the following measures, effective immediately:

1. Attendance Requirement: Students must maintain a minimum of 85% attendance each month.

2. Blacklisting Policy:

Students with attendance below 85% will be placed on a blacklist.

Parents of blacklisted students must meet with the Principal to discuss the matter before the student is allowed to resume regular classes.

3. Examination Eligibility: Students failing to meet the 85% attendance requirement will not be allowed to appear for exams under any circumstances.

Please note, this school does not function as an exam center where students only appear for assessments. We hold a distinguished reputation in society and expect all stakeholders to uphold our standards.

To ensure transparency:

The blacklist will be shared via the school app.

A hard copy of the blacklist will be displayed prominently at the school entrance.

We are informing you well in advance to allow you to take necessary precautions to prevent absenteeism and avoid disciplinary action. We request your full cooperation in adhering to the norms of the school, irrespective of your position or influence.

Together, let us work to create a disciplined and academically enriching environment for our children.

Thank you for your understanding and support.

Yours sincerely,
Sr. Beryl Xavier
Principal.

Dear Parents,

We deeply appreciate your generous spirit and willingness to contribute to our Christmas Charity Drive. As we aim to spread joy and support to underprivileged families, this initiative also serves an important purpose in sensitizing our students towards the needs of others and fostering a sense of collective responsibility.

We understand that some parents may have concerns regarding the allotment of items, particularly coconut oil. Please know that:

1. Charity is not compulsory. Contributions should come from the heart and not out of compulsion. It is entirely voluntary.

2. If you are unable to send the specified quantity of coconut oil or find it challenging, you may send a lesser quantity or choose not to send it at all. Every contribution, no matter how small, is valued and appreciated.

3. While many of you may already be involved in significant charitable activities outside school, this particular initiative is organized within the school to involve and inspire our students in a collective effort to make a difference.

Our goal is not only to assist needy families but also to nurture a spirit of generosity and empathy in our children. Your cooperation in helping us achieve this is invaluable.

Thank you for your understanding and support. May the true spirit of Christmas fill your homes with love and peace.

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Subject: Punctuality and Discipline Policy

We are writing to bring to your attention two important matters regarding punctuality and attendance.

Firstly, it has been observed that some students are consistently reporting late to school. This not only disrupts the discipline of the school but also affects the smooth functioning of morning activities. To ensure a well-disciplined and orderly environment, we request your cooperation in ensuring that your child arrives at school 5 to 10 minutes before the first bell.

Please note that from henceforth, no students shall be permitted to enter the school premises after the second bell. The school gate will be closed at that time, and latecomers will be sent back. If your child is unable to arrive before the stipulated time, we kindly request that you bring them to school the following day on time.

Secondly, we have noticed an increase in student absences without prior permission. Such absences disrupt the child’s learning and reflect poorly on their commitment to their education. Any absence without prior intimation and valid reasons will be treated very seriously. Parents must inform the school in advance and provide a written explanation for their child’s absence.

We firmly believe that discipline begins with punctuality and regular attendance. By instilling these values, we can work together to mold your children into responsible and disciplined individuals.

We seek your understanding and support in these matters and trust that you will ensure your child adheres to the rules. Let us work together to nurture their overall growth and development.

Thank you for your cooperation.
